Godda: A woman committed suicide in Tetariya Tikar village under Pathargama Police Station area of this district.
The deceased has been identified as Suniti Devi. Family members said that the woman after having dinner went to sleep with her children. However early in the morning as the children started crying the others woke up and saw her hanging after which they alerted the police.
A police team which later arrived on the spot sent the bodies for post-mortem to Sadar Hospital. Police said that prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide. Further probe was on.
