Koderma: Miffed over the murder of a person agitated villagers blocked traffic movement on the Ranchi Patna road. Due to the agitation a long que of vehicles remained stranded on both the sides. Purna D resident Choti Soni was shot dead by unidentified miscreants Wednesday night due to which he died on the spot and fled from the spot.
Brother of the deceased said that couple of days ago one Jamal Miyan had threatened his brother with fire consequences. Police has received seven empty cartridges from the spot. Land dispute seems to be the main reason for the dispute. The deceased was of criminal background and had also served prison term.
