Ranchi: The Santhal Pargana region of the state on Sunday experienced mild earthquake tremors which were measured 4.8 on the Richter scale.
However, there was no loss of life and property due to the tremors.
People said that around 10:40 a.m. they felt that tremors after which they left their homes and ran into the open. However, after a few seconds, the impact of the tremors was gone.
