Chatra: A farmer who was burdened with loan committed suicide in Madgada village under Kanhachatti block of this district.
The deceased has been identified as Loknath Sao (50). The man had dinner with his family but the next day he was not found in his home. Neighbours informed that the man was found hanging from a tree.
Family members said that he had taken a loan worth Rs 50,000 for the marriage of his daughter but due to his economic woes was not able to return the money. He was under extreme stress for the last few months and could not
repay the loans and therefore took the extreme step.
