Raghubar alleges Soren family of being the biggest exploiter of Santhal community

Jamtara: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has accused the Soren family of being the biggest exploiter of the Santhal Community and said that while the family members became rich the condition of the community still remains the same.

Addressing a public meeting in Narayanpur while campaigning for party’s Dumka candidate Sunil Soren he said that JMM has cheated and mislead the people of the Santhal Pargana alleged that the party does not want that the poor children of the Santhal community get educated and become known as then they would not be able to use them as their vote banks.

Mr Das said that the Soren family has committed the maximum violation of the CNT/SPT Acts and has purchased flats and properties in various parts of the state worth crores. He said that the people of Santhal Pargana have given enough respect to Guru Ji but now his condition is not good as he is finding it difficult to speak and talk.

He said that deliberately JMM has kept the people of the area away from development and said that people were scared that if the BJP comes to power than their land will be looted and asked the people to point an example when the land has been forcibly taken by the government but instead people were given pucca homes, toilets and power in their house.

The Chief Minister said that just before the elections the people of Congress and JMM will come to their villages and will lure them with money to give their votes but at that time the people should record their acts and send the same to the election commission. He said that the money being distributed for vote belongs to the people and said that it was the same money which these two parties accumulated by making an Independent the Chief Minister of the state.
