Efforts of central and state government have brought development in Kolhan: Pratul

Ranchi: The state BJP has claimed that it was due to the schemes of the central and the state government that Kolhan has been brought in the mainstream of development. 

Addressing a press conference at here party spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo dwelled on the achievements made in the region and pointed that in the last five years with an investment of Rs 1600 crore 832 kilometers of roads have been built in the region while strengthening of NH-33 Behragora-Mahulia stretch at a cost of Rs 1215 crore was also going on.

He said that while on one hand, the construction of a 300 bed medical college in Chaibasa was on while on the other hand the MGM hospital was being upgraded to a 500 bed medical college hospital. He pointed out that in both the areas 2200 youth have been provided jobs through skill development training programmes and 8 rural drinking water supply schemes have been also started in the area.

Pratul also detailed on the benefits of the various schemes including PMAY under which people have been provided homes in the area.
