Shatrughan Sinha attacks BJP, says democracy has lost its way to dictatorship in party

Ranchi: Star campaigner for the Congress party Shatrughan Sinha attacked his former party the BJP and said that now BJP was completely a one man show and two man army and alleged that in the democracy has turned into dictatorship.

Addressing a press conference here he said that looking at the present circumstances of the BJP it had become extremely difficult for him to remain and work within the party. He also flayed the BJP and the Prime Minister for misleading the people over the issue of smart city, demontisation, GST and politicisation of the army. He also accused the BJP of sidling its founders which included former deputy Prime Minister of the country Lal Krishan Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and Arun Shourie. On the other hand he heaped praise on his new home the Congress party and said that it was a great old party whose many of their leaders have sacrificed their lives for the cause of the country and the nation and said that despite delay he was happy to have joined the Congress.

Mr Sinha was appreciative of the fact that Masood Azhar has been branded as a global terrorists and said that it was an important step in the interest of the people and the country however politics in the name of army which is being done by the present BJP is not correct.
