Modi government to finish in less than one month from now: Jairam Ramesh

Ranchi: Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said that after the end of three phases of elections where voting has been completed on more than 300 seats the writing is visible on the wall for Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is staring an exit. 

Addressing a press conference at the JPCC headquarters here he said countdown for the exit of Modi government has commenced in the country which was also visible in the tone and body language of the Prime Minister. “For five years the Modi government which ran on the basis of treachery, threatening and ‘dramabaazi’ will be finished in 2019 and after six months Raghubar Das government will also be finished,” he said.

The former Union Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a unique man who does his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ but never listen to people and said that Mr Modi even by mistake never speaks truth and keeps on making fool of the people but unfortunately the people are not so fool as they are considered by the Prime Minister.

Over a query on surgical strike, he said that during the UPA regime also on 5-6 occasions surgical strike was done however at that time the matter was not politicised and no government tried to take its credit. Mr Ramesh that under UPA also the army had crossed over the border but never its advertisement was made and undue credit was taken.

“Did Indira Gandhi took credit for creation of Bangladesh or did Atal Bihar Vajpayee claim credit for victory in the Kargil war but Prime Minister Modi has done a real surgical strike on the farmers, labourers and youth of the country,” he said adding that those who also not agree to Mr Modi end up facing ‘surgical strike’. Further attacking the Prime Minister he said that he has received certification from Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan who has thrown a ‘bouncer’ by saying that Narendra Modi was the best Prime Minister for India, he said that the manner in which Putin intervened in US presidential elections similar act was being done by Pakistan in elections of India.
