Garhwa: Three people lost their lives and six others were injured as a roof collapsed during a marriage ceremony at Achla Nawadih village under Garhwa Police Station area of this district.
Police said that a marriage was taking place at the house of one Kamlesh Dubey during which a large number of people including girls and women were leaning from the rooftop watching the marriage procession. However, suddenly the railing of the roof fell due to which some area of the roof collapsed and fell on the people who were standing below.
The deceased have been identified as Ashok Dubey, Indernath Dhar Dubey and Shailendra Dhar Dubey while the injured which also included few girls have been referred to RIMS Ranchi for better medical aid.
