Ranchi: Security personnel deployed for security of jailed former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav ended up fighting with each other in which hand of one them was broken and later he was admitted at RIMS. The injured security staff has been identified as Devendra Singh.
The havildar said that another security staff Vinay Jha under the influence of alcohol late last night beat him up with his belt and being hit by the buckle of the belt his hand was fractured and he has also sustained serious injuries. The incident has raised fresh questions over the security of Mr Yadav as the men deployed by the Birsa Munda jail administration are themselves indulging in a scuffle and manhandling.
