Ranchi: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda will be visiting Khunti on Thursday. In the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, Mr Munda for the first time has been fielded from Khunti Lok Sabha constituency. He has replaced senior leader and sitting MP Kariya Munda.
Upon reaching Khunti Mr Munda will first visit the home of Kariya Munda at Anigada and would later go to Angarwadi. He would be staging a pad yatra from Munda Durga Mandir to Subhash Chowk and garland the statue of Netaji. He would later address a public meeting and participate in the meeting of BJP district core committee.
This is for the first time that Mr Munda has been fielded from Khunti. On Wednesday at his residence in Ranchi he met party workers from Khunti.
