Ranchi: Newly appointed state RJD president Gautam Sagar Rana said that the chapter of mahagathbandhan has not closed yet. Talking to reporters after taking over charge as the new state president of the RJD he said that Tejaswi Yadav would be speaking to Congress president Rahul Gandhi and hoped that the manner in which Dr Ajay Kumar gave Jamshedpur seat to the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha to save the grand alliance similarly RJD will also be getting Chatra and Palamu seats.
He said that elections in Palamu and Chatra have been scheduled in the 4th phase and hoped that some solution to the problems would be found out. He said that RJD did not believe in issuing ultimatums to its allies but was rather committed to stop the BJP at any cost. Over the departure of Annapurna Devi he said that she had never expressed her desire to contest the Lok Sabha polls and if she really wanted to do that then she should have spoken with the national leadership of the party. Mr Rana said that RJD is and will always remain a party which is based on the ideology of secularism and social justice.
