BJP compares Rahul Gandhi to current less wire

Ranchi: The Jharkhand BJP took swipe at the upcoming rally of Congress president Rahul Gandhi which is scheduled on March 2 at the Morabadi Grounds here stating that Mr Gandhi remembered Jharkhand only at the time of the election.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo said that how much importance Rahul Gandhi has for Jharkhand is reflected from the fact that after a gap of 5 years when elections can be announced any time he has decided to visit the state while in the same period Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to Jharkhand on eight occasions.

He said that Mr Gandhi was yet to address the rally but Congress leaders are making tall claims and pointed that recently State Congress chief Dr Ajay Kumar had said that after visit of Mr Gandhi BJP would be wiped out from the state but he should remember that Rahul Gandhi is an electric wire without any current and even hundreds of Rahul Gandhi cannot have the strength of the BJP whose real strength lies in its party workers.

He pointed that while BJP had won 12 Lok Sabha seats during the previous Lok Sabha polls while had lost narrowly on two others while on the other hand, the Congress party had lost all the nine seats on which it had contested despite the fact that Rahul Gandhi himself had campaigned on many of those seats.
