Lovers attempt suicide in Koderma, girl dead, boy sent to RIMS

Koderma: A couple attempted suicide at Masmohan village under Navalsahi Police Station area of this district. The girl died in the
incident while the boy was rushed to Sadar Hospital from where he was rushed to RIMS Ranchi. The villagers said that the couple were in a relationship for the last four months but the marriage of the girl was fixed in Giridih and is was suppossed to get married in May.

Both of them were against the decision. On Thursday night the duo eloped from their respective homes and reached an isolated location outside their village and consumed poison. The girl died in the night itself while early in the morning the pulse of boy was found running by the locals who alerted his family members. Police have meanwhile sent the body of the girl for postmortem to Sadar Hospital.
