Congress’s Gaurav Yatra in Jharkhand, Avinash Pandey kicks off the journey from Chanho

Ranchi: On the completion of the 75th year of independence, the State Congress started Gaurav Yatra in all the districts of the state. It was started by the state in-charge Avinash Pandey from Chanho’s Silagain.

This yatra will be done in every block of the district till August 14. Speaking on the occasion Avinash Pandey said that on the completion of 75th year of independence, through the Gaurav Yatra of Congress, the future generation will be made aware of the sacrifices of the freedom fighters. 

Targeting the BJP, he said that BJP and RSS work to set fire whereas Congress rises above party sentiment and works to keep the nation paramount. He said that the democracy of the country is threatened by the BJP. Indira Gandhi gave her life for the country, but the BJP government is murdering democracy and is working to topple the elected governments. 

State Congress President Rajesh Thakur said that pseudo-nationalists are singing songs of patriotism in the country. He said BJP is trying to impose Godse’s ideology in this country by destroying Gandhi’s ideas. He said that Congress is not just a party but the identity of India and Indianness.

As a vigilant party, it will continue to protect democracy and the Constitution. The job of the BJP is to run a bulldozer, then the job of Congress is to build a shelter. Thakur said that issue of Temple and mosque is being done to divert attention from the real issue of the people in the country which is inflation and unemployment.
