JPSC aspirants hold protest outside commission’s office

Ranchi: JPSC aspirants on Saturday staged a protest outside the commission’s office demanding that the mains exam of the 6th JPSC be canceled.

The agitators alleged that in the advertisement for the recruitment a provision for announcing 15 times the result with reservation was mentioned but instead of 15 times, 106 times result has been declared regarding the candidates who can appear in the exam. On the other hand, the commission should have given the notification 40 days in advance for organizing the mains exam but the JPSC has given just 11 days notice in advance as per which the mains exam would be conducted for 326 posts between January 28 to February 1 therefore the mains exam should be canceled.

The agitators also pointed to other irregularities including employees of JPSC who have also cleared the prelims exam and are still working in the commission which is a violation of exam rules.
