CM lays foundation stones and inaugurates projects in Bhognadih on occasion of Hul Diwas

Sahibganj: Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that tribal ancestors have sacrificed in thousands in the struggle for freedom from the British rule therefore everyone should remember their contribution to the society. He said that Hul Diwas is celebrated to keep those tribal freedom fighters alive in their hearts. He said that to show our reverence for those heroes people install statues of great martyrs at squares and build memory parks. He was addressing people in Bhognadih on the occasion of Hul Diwas. 

The Chief Minister said that Dishom Guru had established Hul Diwas as fair and tribal brothers and sisters have gathered to celebrate the same. He said that when this fair started all the tribal families from far and wide had gathered here in such numbers that there was no place to even set foot. He said that during the Corona period the government has done the work of transporting all the labourers trapped outside their state to their homes through airplanes, trains, and buses.

Along with this work has been done by making an action plan so that they get self-employment opportunities in their village itself. The Chief Minister said that under Sarvajan Pension in the state, whoever is more than 60 years old, disabled, widow are being connected with the pension scheme. Loans are being made available to the youth to connect them with self-employment. 

Along with this work is being done to connect the people of the village with the livestock scheme so that they can get employment and at the same time the government will give its product to the children of Anganwadi and schools, which will also get rid of malnutrition. In the program, the foundation stone of 19 schemes costing Rs 1646.36 lakh was laid and schemes worth Rs 3303.43 lakh was inaugurated.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister distributed appointment letters and assets among the beneficiaries under various schemes of the government. Rajmahal MP Vijay Kumar Hansda and district administration officials and the general public were present.
