Raghubar raises objections to JMM antics during Guv speech, Hemant says booklet of hoax claims

Ranchi: On the inaugural day of the Budget Session of the Jharkhand Assembly the treasury benches and the opposition were at loggerhead following the speech of Governor Drauapdi Murmu in the house with Chief Minister Raghubar Das himself flaying the main opposition party the JMM for deliberately trying to create a disturbance while the governor was speaking.

Talking to the reporters outside the assembly Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the JMM and its leaders tried to deliberately created obstacles during the inaugural speech of the Governor and people of the state were watching the acts of those who are sitting in the supreme panchayat of the state. He said that had the JMM refrained from its act the Budget Session would have been started on a more positive note.

Mr Das said that he was hopeful that the session would go on smoothly and the problems of the people will be taken up and assured that the state government was ready to hold discussion and give reply on each and every issue. Leader of the Opposition JMM’s Hemant Soren said that the government does not want that its failures comes out in open therefore the copy of the speech of the governor was circulated in the house at the very end. He said that even in her ‘soul’ the governor would not have linked to read out the bunch of lies however unfortunately she is tied with the government. Mr Soren said that on many occasion the governor herself has made comments showing that all work which was being claimed by the government was not good. Mr Soren said that Mandal Dam was a conspiracy to provide water to the farmers of Bihar while people of Jharkhand will not get a single drop to drink. Over the  Mukhyamnatri Krishi Aashirwad Yojana he said that when will the state government give the Rs 5000 per acres of farmers. Whether it would be provided after they die or for their development, he questioned.

Further attacking the state government he said that when the Union Government could not create jobs than from where Jharkhand has become number one in employment providing and how was it possible that the state was also second best in tax collection. Mr Soren said that the state government had nothing to do with the women children and youth of the state and said that while on one hand the eggs in the mid-day meal are being reduced for children on the other hand liquor shops are being opened.

Adding further he said that condition of the health department was pathetic as while on one hand the state run hospitals like RIMS and MGM are running on ventilators, on the other hand, the Health Minister was opening one educational institution after another. In a sarcastic note he said that the government which could not build Ranchi- Tata road in last four years is talking about development in Jharkhand and accused the Chief Minister of copying the ‘jhumlas’ of the Prime Ministers.
