Khadi Board reviews preparations for Saras Mela 2018

Ranchi (By our correspondent): A high-level meeting was on Tuesday organized by the Jharkhand State Khadi board which was chaired by its chairperson Sanjay Seth to discuss the preparations for the National Khadi and Saras Mela 2018 which is scheduled
to commence at Morabadi Grounds from December 20. 

It was decided that the district administration would be responsible for looking after law and order situation, security arrangements and facilities at the entry and drop gates while the RMC would conduct cleanliness during the event. It was also decided to make arrangements for staying and other facilities for the artisans who would be coming from across the nation to participate in the function. In the meeting,

Mr. Seth said that through government stall the schemes of the government will be provided to the people while every day in the evening cultural programmes would be held along with different types of competition which would be organised at the venue.
