Last rites of Navy Jawan performed in ancestral village of Palamu, Minister Mithlesh Thakur also present

Daltonganj: The last rites of navy man Suraj Kumar Dubey  was performed at the banks of the Koyel river at Purvadiha.

   The pyre of the deceased was lit by his father. In the last journey cabinet minister Mithlesh Thakur was also present. The deceased Suraj Dubey was found murdered in Palghar district of Maharashtra.

      The father of the deceased said that his son was not kidnapped and was taken away by his friends. He was torched for three days and later burnt to death the father claimed adding that had his son been kidnapped they would have atleast got a ransom call. He demanded for a CBI probe into the incident.

   Mithlesh Thakur said that at Home Secretary level talks have been held with Maharashtra and Tamilnadu government. He said that soon the culprits will be caught and if further delay will take place then the government was ready for any probe.

  Former Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Inder Singh Namdhari also reached the village of the deceased and demanded for a probe into the incident. He claimed that anti national elements might be involved in the incident.

  Suraj Dubey had got engaged in January and was due to get married in May. On January 30 he had left home to join duty at Coimbatore but went missing mid-way.
