Jharkhand Police announces reward up to Rs 25 lakh on seven Maoists

Ranchi (IANS): Jharkhand Police on Friday announced a reward of up to Rs25 lakh on seven Maoist Guerrillas. 

A press statement of the police headquarter says “ cash reward of seven Maoist Guerrillas belonging to banned Maoist group, People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) has been announced. The photographs of these Maoists have also been released”. 

The police headquarter has announced Rs 25 lakh reward to people who will give any information about  PLFI chief Dinesh Gope. The cash reward which has been announced on seven Maoists Guerrillas are wanted in five districts –Ranchi, Khuti, Gumla, Simdega and Chaibasa (West Singhbhum).   

The other Maoist Guerrillas on whim cash rewards have been announced are Jidan Gudia-Rs 10 lakh, Tilkeshwar Gope- Rs 10 lakh, Awadesh Kumar Jaiswal alias Abodh Kumar Jaiswal alias Chua-Rs 2 lakh, Ajay Purti-Rs 2 lakh, Shanischaran Purty-Rs 2 lakh, Mangra Lugun-Rs 2 lakh. 

Anyone can give information about these seven Maoist or about their properties to Police. The state police has also issued mobile numbers of the police officials who could be informed. 

Maoist Guerrillas are active in 18 of the state 24 districts of the state.
