CM and other politicians in paying tributes to former Union Minister Jaswant Singh

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren led the politicians across the state in paying tributes to former Union Minister Jaswant Singh who passed away on Sunday following a prolonged illness.

The Chief Minister expressed his condolence over the demise of the former central minister. He said that the nation would always remember his contribution. He prayed to the almighty to rest his soul in peace and give strength to the family members to overcome the burden of loss.

He said that the demise of senior politician and cabinet minister in the government of late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Jaswant Singh was an irreparable loss to the country.

BJP's national vice president and former Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the demise of Jaswant Singh was a big loss for the country. He said that Mr Singh whether was in the army or in the government served with honesty and dedication for the country.

Leader of the Legislature wing of BJP and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi that the demise of former Union Minister Jaswant Singh is a big loss to the nation. He said that Jaswant Singh would be always remembered for his unique way of seeing things in politics and society moreover he had also played a vital role in the strengthening of the BJP.
