Four Maoist Guerrillas arrested in Latehar

Ranchi (By our correspondent): Four Maoist Guerrillas have been arrested by the state police in Jharkhand’s Latehar district on Wednesday. “ Four Maoist Guerrillas belonging to Maoist organization Jharkhand Jan Mukti Morcha (JJMP) were arrested from Jari railway station. There were information that Maoist Guerrillas were seen near the railway station” said Prashant Kumar, Latehar superintendent of police (SP) to reporters. He said “ police team was formed and search operation was launched to arrest them. The JJMP Maoists were arrested”.

Police recovered three pistols, live cartridges, mobile phones and other things from The arrested Maoists have been identified as Ashok Yadav, Randhir Kumar, Neeraj Kumar and Pappu Prasad. Ashok Yadav was earlier in the banned Maoist outfit, Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-Maoist). The arrested Ashok Yadav was wanted in many cases including torching vehicles and attacking a legislator representative.
