Dumka district administration sends buses to Bihar and Chhattisgarh to bring back people

Dumka: The district administration has sent 6 buses to the neighbouring states of Bihar and Chhattisgarh to bring back the trapped people of Dumka.

DC Rajeshwari B flagged off the buses. She said that 150-200 people of the district are trapped in these two states and to bring them back the buses have been sent. She said that once the buses return with the people the process of registration would be done in the outdoor stadium which would be followed by health screening and profiling.

She said that incase any person is found suspected of being infected with Coronavirus than they would be immediately sent to quarantine centre while others would be kept in home quarantine. She said that the administration is in touch with their counterparts in West Bengal to bring back 160 people who are trapped in that state. However she said that out of these 160 only 100 have expressed their desire to come back
