Hemant Government and district administration responsible for hunger death in Ramgarh: Deepak Prakash

Ranchi : State BJP president Deepak Prakash has accused the state government and district administration of Ramgarh district for being responsible for death of an old woman in Gola block due to hunger.

He said that the state government has no concern for the poor and the labourers as it failed to come up with effective measures to be implemented during the lock down due to which people are dying due to hunger in the state. He said that the central government had directed all the state governments to make PDS shops fully functional so that ration can reach to the needy however no concrete steps were taken.

Mr Prakash said that amid the crisis the BJP workers are distributing food grains among the needy in all the districts but it was only the administration of Ramgarh which stopped the distribution of food grains by the party. He said that while on one hand, the administration did not play its role, on the other hand, those who were serving the people were also stopped.

He said that ministers of Congress party are not worried for the poor and the ministers only care about people hailing from a particular community of their constituency for which even all rules and regulations are set aside. Moreover, he alleged that by changing the postmortem report an attempt is being made to save the culprits.
