Chief Secretary reviews preparations for President's visit on Feb 28-29

Ranchi: President Ramnath Kovind is scheduled to arrive on a two-day visit to the state on February 28- 29 during which he will be participating in programmes to be held in Ranchi, Gumla and Deoghar districts.

The President upon his arrival in the state capital on February 28 will participate in the first convocation ceremony of Central University of Jharkhand which will be held at its new campus located at Cheri-Manatu between 4.40 pm to 5.30 pm.

During the function, he will be also inaugurating the new buildings of the varsity. On the next day, he will be travelling to Bishunpur of Gumla district and participate in the programme of Vikas Bharti from 10.20 am to 11.30 am and later in the afternoon at 1 pm reach Deoghar where he will be performing puja at Baba Baidynath Dham temple. On March 1 he will leave for Raipur at 10 am.
