Ranchi: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre has issued a forecast of thunderstorms and lightning in several isolated areas of Jharkhand. Weathermen said after brief sunshine overcast conditions will prevail in several parts of the state. The low-pressure trough was running from the cyclonic circulation over Northeast Rajasthan to Nagaland across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar extending up to 1.5 Km above the mean sea level. The forecast also included strong surface wind gusting up to 30-40 Kmph at isolated places over the state.
