Mr Shailendra Kumar Sinha, the Special Superintendent of Police, appointed in the post of security for the Chief Minister, was awarded the President's commendable service medal. This medal was given to by the Chief Minister, Raghubar Das, on the occasion of the 18th Jharkhand Foundation Day parade and Aalankaran Ceremony held in Jap One Ground Doranda 2018.

It is to be noted that Shailendra Kumar Sinha is the IPS officer of 2006 batch and a resident of Bokaro district. In 2013, he was also honoured with the Chief Minister's Commendable Service Medal.
