Ranchi: Newly appointed state president of the Nationalist Congress Party and former minister Kamlesh Singh said that his party will hold talks with the like-minded parties of the state for protecting Jharkhand.
Addressing the press here he said that contrary to the claims of the state government of bringing development in the entire nation the image of the state has declined. He thanked NCP national president Sharad Pawar and General Secretary Praful Patel for reappointing him as the state head of the party. He said that due to less rainfall the condition of the farmers was very bad in the state and demanded that all farmers whether they are enrolled under crop insurance scheme or not be given compensations and loans worth Rs 1 lakh be waived off.
Mr. Singh also demanded that in mines and mineral based industries locals should be given jobs while lack of teachers in the government schools should also be solved and also the presence of doctors be ensured in block and panchayat level health care centers.
