Ranchi (IANS): Police has informed about the discovery of 9 improvised explosive device (IED's) from Jharkhand's Palamau district on Tuesday.
The nine IEDs were recovered at Manatu of Palamau district in a joint search of the state police and CRPF. Police had recovered arms from the same areas on Saturday.
The anti-bomb disposal squad was called and the IEDs were defused.
Police say that the IEDs were planted by Maoist Guerrillas to target the security forces and cause heavy casualties.
