Raipur (By our correspondent): Chief Minister Raghubar Das hit the campaign trail in the poll bound state of Chhattisgarh where he not
only campaigned for the BJP candidates but also held a road show with his counterpart Raman Singh.
Mr Das during his visit participated in the nomination of seven candidates and also addressed a rally in Bilaspur. Addressing the people he said that going by the enthusiasm of the common people and the party workers there was no doubt that lotus will once again bloom in Chhattisgarh and BJP will once again make its government. He said that BJP was a party of the workers while the Congress was a party of one family.
Mr Das said that in BJP even a Chaiwala can become the Prime Minister and a worker can go on to become the Chief Minister
but that was not possible in the Congress party. Mr Das said that India as per the dreams of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for which the Chief Ministers of Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand are all working for the development of their respective states.
Continuing his tirade on the Congress party he said that while on one hand, they are not able to find candidates to contest polls in Bilaspur on other hands all seven candidates from the BJP have filed their nomination papers. Mr Das said that Congress party has become scared of the honesty of the Prime Minister. He said that since the Chowkidaar of the nation was honest therefore the Congress party was in a states of desperation. He said that the people should ask what the Congress did in the 60 years of
their rule while on the other hand the BJP leaders and workers should proudly make the people aware what BJP and the central government has done for them.
