Chatra/Garhwa: BJP national president and Union Home Minister Amit Shah accused the Congress party of creating hurdles so that hearing on the Ram Mandir case in the supreme court could not be taken up.
Addressing couple of election rallies in Chatra and Garhwa on the last day of campaigning for the first phase of elections in the state he sought answers from the JMM which was fighting together with the Congress regarding the stand of the party when ‘Hemant Babu’ was fighting for a separate Jharkhand state and claimed that as long as Congress remained in power Jharkhand was not carved out and only when BJP came into power and Atal Bihari Vajpayee became the Prime Minister the separate state of Jharkhand was carved out.
Mr Shah accused the JMM and Congress combine of indulging in scams worth crores whereas not a single allegation of corruption has been levelled on Chief Minister Raghubar Das. He said that Chatra was hit by maoists menace and prior to BJP government people even could not take into villages marriage procession whereas even at the midnight people are participating in marriage functions and the maoists do not have the courage to attack them.
The Union Home Minister said that BJP government has buried naxalism 20 feet below the ground. He also offered his tributes to the martyrs of Latehar ambush and said that the blood of the martyrs will not go waste as naxals will be uprooted from the state forever.
Adding further he said that a steel plant has been proposed in Chatra which will create jobs for the youth. The Union Minister said that next time when he will come to ask for the votes the plant will be ready. He pointed that in Chatra alone 73,187 toilets were constructed.
Attacking Rahul Gandhi he said that ‘Rahul Baba’ use to say that the work of construction of toilets was considered development by BJP and sought answers as to whether he felt ashamed when the mother and sisters had to go out in open.
He said that the people of the country for the last many decades wanted a Ram Temple in Ayodhya but the Congress party created hurdles with its leader Kapil Sibbal saying that the case should not be run in the court. He said that after the Supreme Court gave its verdict a grand Ram Temple will be constructed in Ayodhya.
He claimed that the alliance of JMM and Congress has only given corruption to the state and said that unstable governments can not do welfare of the state and pointed that after a majority government came into power in 2014 development took place in the state.
