CM Jansamvad Programme -12 dozen cases reviewed, instructions to execute cases within a fixed time frame given

Ranchi - Additional Secretary, Chief Minister Secretariat, Ramakant Singh reviewed a total of 12 cases in weekly review program of Jansamvad Kendra at Suchna Bhawan. He instructed officers of all departments to execute cases within a fixed time frame.

On October 27, 2017, a 13-year-old girl from Ramgarh was murdered after being raped by some unknown people. No one has been arrested till now. Additional DGP present in the review meeting directed Ramgarh SP to thoroughly investigate the matter and send an update report.

The work of Khajuriya reservoir medium irrigation Project in Garhwa is not completed till date though it was started in the year 1987. The Additional Secretary was displeased with the progress of the project and instructed to keep this issue in ‘Seedhi Baat’ program. 

On the complaint of the construction of the three-storied school building in the girl's middle school, Ranka, in Garhwa, in the year 2014-15, the concerned officer expressed his inability to progress due to lack of funds. On this, the Additional Secretary of the Government directed the department to prepare estimates and complete the work at the earliest.

The harvest of Namita Devi of Sahebganj was destroyed due to natural calamity. Even after two years of disaster, she has not been given sum insured in Prime Minister's Crop Insurance Scheme.  During the review, it was told from the department that the payment is pending with the insurance company. The Additional Secretary ordered the department to coordinate with the insurance company and pay the compensation within one month. 
About 2000 farmers of the Dulmi block of Ramgarh were destroyed due to drought. Despite crop insurance, the amount of insurance has not been paid to the farmers. When the Additional Secretary asked the department about this, it was found that the allocation for payment to the affected farmers is obtained, but due to this division being reformed in 2015 the data is not available and at present payment can be made only after permission of the Government of India. On this, the Additional Secretary instructed pay the sum after coordinating with the centre. 

A daily worker of Chatra Electricity Subdivision, Feroz Mansuri, died due to electricity in 2011, his wife Tanu Naz did not get the compensation till now. The Additional Secretary asked the concerned officer to investigate the matter within a week and submit the report. 

For the last 8 years, health sub-centre of Giridih is in shabby condition. Officials of Health department said that to repair the sub-centre 11 lakh rupees is required. On this the additional secretary said instructed repairs the sub-centre from Untied Fund by discussing it with DC within a month. 

On the complaint of not giving toilets facility under Swachh Bharat Mission so far to Chauparan of Hazaribagh.  The nodal officer of the department informed that 40 toilets have been constructed so far and the remaining toilets will be constructed under MANREGA. The Additional secretary instructed to complete the work within 2 months. 

Bharat Kumar Raut used to work in Rohini Shahid Memorial Park in Deoghar. He has not been paid for the work from April 2013 to October 2014. The concerned nodal officer told that payment was not made due to unavailability of allocation. The Additional Secretary directed to keep the matter again in the next weekly review and ensure prompt payment.

Md. Azhar SPO in Chatra had lost his right leg due to landmines explosion laid by militants. On the issue of being deprived of the assistance amount, the nodal officer of the department said that there is a provision to give the victim fifty thousand rupees. The additional secretary ordered the department to send the proposal and pay the amount payable.

Vijay Kumar Topno working in Vananchal Gramin Bank, Satarba, Palamu died during service in 2015 but till now his dependent did not get compensation and job. On this the concerned nodal officer informed that their dependents have been paid a compensation of Rs. 10 lakhs and correspondence is being done with the bank for job. On this, the Additional Secretary directed to provide a copy of the letter sent to the bank and to coordinate with the bank.

On the case of non-payment of honorarium for 18 months to 14 health associates of Satbarwa division of Latehar district, the departmental officer said that their details have not been sent so far due to which the payment is pending. The additional secretary ordered pay them within 15 days by reviewing the matter.
