Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that our youth is the pride of the country. There is no lack of talent in the youth of Jharkhand; all they need is the right direction. We are in a digital and knowledge-based phase that is changing our living. To be compatible with the modern world, two years ago, the Raksha Shakti University was established in the state. Students studying at this university will be able to successfully cope with future challenges like terrorism, economic crime, cybercrime and judicial science. The Chief Minister was addressing in the Second Foundation Day function of Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University.
The Chief Minister said that modernization of the police system cannot be done only with new weapons. For this, a trained human force is required. Graduates from Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University will be given priority in employment in the Jharkhand police force. There is a continuous requirement of security forces in many other industrial units, including CCL, BCCL. Keeping this in mind, the youth are being trained in Raksha Shakti University so that they can get employment in their state.
The Chief Minister instructed to ensure the maximum use of IT in this knowledge-based era. New ways of cybercrime have become a challenge in the present time. In order to overcome these challenges, trained and skilled human resources are needed. The state government is setting up a cyber police station at the identified places in the state to deal with cybercrime.
The Chief Minister said that 60 children of Tana Bhagat families have been given admission in Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University for the Certificate Course in Police Science. Authorities have taken responsibility for their all the requirement during the study. Co-ordinate with Raksha Shakti University of other states for a better learning opportunity. The more researches the better the results will be.
The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University is the third university in the country for the study of internal security. Within a period of just 2 years, it has made its mark in the education world. The best example of this is that the students from other states like Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi are now enrolling in Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University. Strengthening the infrastructure of this university is the priority of the government. The latest cybersecurity laboratory and forensic science laboratory has been made available.
The Chief Minister said that appealed to the youth studying in Raksha Shakti University to make it Model University by intellectual capacity and discipline. We should compete with the developed nation of the world.
The Chief Minister released the Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University Souvenir on this occasion. Vice-Chancellor, Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University cum Secretary, Urban Development Department, Ajay Kumar Singh gave the welcome speech. On the occasion, students who are studying in the University displayed model prepared for the safety of industrial units.
