Weather took a turn in Jharkhand, orange alert issued due to strong winds

Ranchi: Due to light rain, the weather has taken a turn in many districts of Jharkhand.

On Monday, there was light cloud cover throughout the day in the capital Ranchi.

Due to this the weather remained warm.

In the evening, people got relief from the heat due to cool winds in Ranchi.

Whereas, light rain at some places in Ramgarh, Gumla, Latehar, Lohardaga and Bokaro made the weather pleasant.

There was a severe heat wave at some places in Garhwa, Palamu and Ramgarh districts of the state.

In the last 24 hours, an increase in temperature was recorded in 18 districts.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain with thunderstorms from June 18 to June 23, due to which the maximum temperature in the state will drop by 3 to 4 degrees during the next 3 days.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of wind speed of 30 to 40 km per hour in Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra and Latehar in Jharkhand on June 18, for which a yellow alert has been issued.

In the remaining districts, there is a possibility of thunderstorms with winds of 40-50 kilometers per hour.

During this period, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall with thunder at some places.

An orange alert has been issued in all the districts of the state from June 19 to 23 due to the possibility of thunderstorms and strong winds (maximum speed 40-50 kilometers per hour).

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of a heat wave at some places in the north-western and adjacent northern parts of the state.

Regarding this, yellow alerts have been issued in Garhwa, Palamu, Latehar, Chatra, Hazaribagh, Koderma, Ramgarh, Bokaro, Giridih, Dhanbad, Deoghar and Jamtara.

In the last 24 hours, there was light rain along with thunderstorms at some places in the state.

Highest rainfall of 6.1 mm was recorded in Palamu.

Heat wave to severe heat wave conditions were also recorded at some places in the state.

The highest temperature was 44.5 degrees. In Daltonganj, the lowest minimum temperature was 26.1 degrees.
