Ranchi: The Jharkhand government decided to reserve 10% post for the economically weak in the state civil services and other posts.
A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the project building here.
It was also decided to provide 10 percent reservation in the government listed educational institution while the government decided to appoint Neha Tripathi who is the widow of martyred CRPF commandant Pramod Kumar who is also a recipient of Kirti Chakra as a lecturer in the government-run Polytechnic/women Polytechnic in the state. The government also decided to bring legislation for making amendments in filling up the vacant posts in Jharkhand posts and services for SC, ST and OBCs.
It was also decided that an area of 5 acres of land would be given in Namkum of Ranchi to set up the art of living for excellence to member apex, Vyakti Vikas Kendra Jharkhand on a lease of 30 years. In another key decision the cabinet gave nod to a proposal to form a real estate regulatory fund and Jharkhand land asset regulatory authority while it was also decided to provide the benefits of
revised pension schemes to the retired pensioners and family pensioner beneficiaries of the Birsa Agricultural University.
The cabinet also approved a payment of Rs 35,400 for the geological experts which were hired by the geology directorate under Jharkhand mines and Geology department. In another key decision it was decided that teachers and non teaching staff in non government aided primary and Middle School would be given benefits of the 7th pay commission and other facilities.
The government has also decided to hike the annual licence fee of liquor shops which was earlier Rs 50000 for one year to Rs 7 lakh
per year while it was also agreed to start the new centre sponsored scheme Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan in the state , on the other
hand the cabinet also approved the Sine die for the budget session of the Jharkhand assembly which was held from January 17th to February 8.
It was also decided that as part of new administrative units for the newly constituted police sub division Police stations and OPs area
of the already existing police sub division and police station would be decided. The cabinet also approved a proposal according to which 6 post of deputy development Commissioner would be filled from the state Service Commission which was earlier taken from the Indian Forest Service.
