Want to make Jharkhand free from fear, hunger and corruption says Raghubar on 70th Republic Day

Dumka: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that as per the dreams of the founder of the constitution who had visualized to create such a society which was free from economic disparity and social discrimination where all people have equal opportunities for
development that the government has set on course to build such a Jharkhand which was free from fear hunger corruption terrorism and crime free.

In his address the people on the occasion of the Nation's 70th Republic Day which he delivered at the police lines in Dumka after hoisting the national flag and then inspecting the parade Mr. Das said that law and order and administration are such works of the state government which help to make and break the image of the state. He said that strong law and order ensure that the welfare schemes and development plans are implemented on ground to achive all round development of the people and the state and to achieve the goal the state government has taken strict measures to counter corruption in the state.

He said that vigilance bureau has been reconstituted as Anti Corruption Bureau and the regional offices have been opened where people can register their complaints related to corruption. He said that agriculture and farmers both have an important place in the state and progress of agriculture is a priority for the government and increasing their income is the target for which the Krishi Aashirwad Yojana has been started which would benefit 22.76 lakh small and medium-sized farmers in the state.

He said that 76 farmers have been sent to Israel to learn the modern methods of agriculture and in the previous group of 24 women farmers 20 were sent from Santhal Pargana which is a positive step taken by the state government not only for agriculture development but also for the empowerment of the women.

He said that Jharkhand was the lone state which was paying the premium of the crop insurance scheme and in the year 2019-20 the
farmers will also get free crop insurance scheme. He said that in the recently organized Global Food and Agriculture Summit more than 10,000 farmers had participated apart from members from 7 countries and 8 states in which farmers got to know techniques to maximize their production with less investment.
