Ranchi: Governor Daruapdi Murmu has asked to provide the best education to the students in all the educational institutions which should also be equipped with proper libraries and laboratories. Addressing the toppers of Ranchi Kolhan and Birsa Agriculture University at the Raj Bhawan here today she said that it has been her personal efforts to make sure that an environment for education prevails across the state for which concrete steps have been taken to make the academic sessions regular in the universities. On the other hand, efforts are also on to remove the issue of lack of teachers for which as immediate respite on per class basis teachers are being hired.
She also asked the authorities to make the laboratories and libraries in the institutions and asked the universities to accord focus on English in the ear of competitions and also instructed to make efforts for improving the personality skills and communication
skills of students in the state. She directed to provide training of martial arts in the colleges and the universities and also conduct regular health camps. In her message to the students she said that any student who tops in the exam is a role model for other students.
She said that services of these students should be used to guide other students as to where they need to make improvements. Ms Murmu also collected information from the students on how further improvement can be made in the universities of the state. Principal Secretary to the Governor Satyendra Singh was also present on the occasion along with the VCs of the various universities.
