Ranchi: After road shows in Bengaluru and New Delhi the Jharkhand government will organize two-day industry roadshow in UAE on December 16 and 17 to draw the potential recruiters to hire youth from the state for jobs in retail hospitality, infrastructure and other
important sectors of that country.
The international road show will be aimed employers network for generating aspirational and gainful employment and would also be used as a foundation for skill development in the state so that the youth can be trained as per the international standards keeping in mind the job requirements of the future. The government is trying to get in touch with the industrial units and other companies in UAE for this roadshow.
The event would be also attended by Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Indian Ambassador to UAE Navdeep Suri, development Commissioner D K Tiwari, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal, Secretary Higher Education Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Director Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Society Ravi Ranjan and other senior officials. In the roadshow, the Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Society will give a detailed presentation over Vision of Skill Development in Jharkhand. During the two-day roadshow the stakeholders will have a question-answer session and firms like DM Healthcare, Nakheel Al Naboodah Construction, ASGC Contracting will be interacting with the senior officials of the state government.
The HRD Minister of UAE Bin Thani Al Hamli would also be addressing the programme during which the delegation of the state government would be traveling to ICCA Dubai, Masdar Future City and other industrial houses. In the international road show, the Chief Minister would be directly interacting with the recruiters, industry associates and skill development experts.
