Ranchi: The Winter Session of the Jharkhand Assembly would be held from December 24 to 27. A decision in this regard was
taken in the meeting of the state cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the project building here. During
the session, the house would be functional on December 24, 26 and 27 while December 25 will be a holiday on account of Christmas.
The cabinet also decided that under the National e-governance yojana the Jharkhand State Data Centre will be handed over under
the state e-governance scheme and for its execution and maintenance, a sum of Rs 25.43 crore has been approved out of which in fiscal 2018-19 a sum of Rs 5.88 crore would be spent.
It was also decided that state guarantee would be given so that Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Ltd can obtain the short-term loan and the loan amount would be later paid by the company from its own sources. Administrative approval was also accorded to second revised estimate for building homes for the third and fourth-grade employees in Haidernagar block of the Palamu district. A proposal worth Rs 67.53 crore related to strengthening and construction and repair of allied structure of the Anjanwa reservoir project was approved by the cabinet.
