CEO of Jharkhand Development Council Anil Swarup resigns from post

Ranchi: Chief Executive Officer of the Jharkhand Development Council Anil Swarup has resigned from his post and his resignation has been also accepted by Chief Minister Raghubar Das. Anil Swarup a former IAS officer himself tweeted to share the news of his
resignation. “Thankful to @dasraghubar for accepting my resignation from the post of Chief Executive Officer, State Development
Council, Jharkhand. Learned a lot during the stint. Wish the State all the best. Will now have time to reflect, read, write, disseminate
& complete my book”, he tweeted.

His resignation was looming large as he had on several occasions openly expressed his dissatisfaction over the things which were happening in the state. On August 1 he had tweeted “Impressive targets & grand launches have no meaning without a workable action plan, clearly outlining how would they be achieved, who would do what & by when. These are counter productive. It is nice to dream & each one of us should, but we should have our feet firmly on the ground.”

His tweet had generated quite a buzz in the government and the department as it was seen as an attempt to make the government realize that there was no need to build a castle in the air but instead the projects should be realised on the ground.
