Ranchi (By our correspondent): Principal Secretary of Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal has expressed his anguish over non-performing districts and nodal officers of non-performing departments. During the weekly review of the complaints registered at the Jansamwad Kendra here it was found that more than a thousand complaints were pending in Palamu Giridih Hazaribagh Chatra Ranchi Dumka Dhanbad Deoghar and Garhwa districts. He asked the DCs of each these districts that they should hold a compulsory
review of the complaints registered at the Jansamwad Kendra and take quick action on the complaints.
Mr Barnwal said that in the name of addressal of complaints only formalities should not be done and people should get justice of their complaints and nodal officials should make sure that people get their due. One Baijnath Mahto of Sondaha of Dhanbad had died in October 2017 but despite that the kin of the deceased had not been paid their compensation over which the nodal officer of disaster management department said that they had still not received the post-mortem report over which Mr Barnwal said that in such cases where the post-mortem cannot be performed then on the basis of the report of the efficient officer there is a provision to give compensation. He has directed the department to pay compensation within a month and asked the Home and Disaster Management Department to submit a report from all the districts over such type of cases.
One Gujari Sah of Sahibganj had applied under the Mukhyamantri Kanyadaan Yojana five years ago but he had still not got the benefits over which he asked the officials of the department to submit a report over the issue within a week. He asked all the DCs to review the pending cases under Kanyadaan Yojana at their own level.
