AJSU wins only 2 seats, Sudesh finally wins from Silli

Ranchi: Despite promising such the AJSU party had a miserable outing in the present assembly elections as it managed to win just the 2 seats despite contesting on 53 seats.

What has come as the sole consolation for the party is that their supremo and former deputy Chief Minister Sudesh Kumar Mahto managed to win from Silli seat by defeating his nearest rival Seema Mahto of JMM.

Lambodar Mahto, on the other hand, won from Gomia seat where he defeated his nearest rival Babita Devi of the JMM. However, the results were a big set back for party’s Giridih MP Chandraprakash Chowdhary as his wife Sunita Chowdhary lost from Ramgarh seat and his brother Roshan Lal Chowdhary lost from Barkagaon seat. Both Ramgarh and Barkagaon seats were won by Congress.
