
Ranchi: The Jharkhand Congress has accused Union Home Minister and national president of BJP Amit Shah of speaking lies before the people of Jharkhand during his election rallies in the state.
Addressing a press conference here party spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey said that claims of the Home Minister that maoists have been wiped out from the state was a bunch of lie as the election commission on the basis of the reports of the DCs and SPs has said that out of 81 assembly areas 67 are maoists hit due to which in five years no industrialist came to set up their units in the state.
He said that it was the Congress party which framed the land acquisition act, PESA ACT, Forest Act for protecting the Jal Junglee and Zameen of the tribals.
Moreover, he claimed that the people of Jharkhand can not forget the contribution of the Congress in the creation of Jharkhand.
Dubey said that people of Jharkhand will not forget the faces of corrupt and leaders involved in scams who have been fielded by the BJP in the polls.
He said that it was a matter of great surprise that a government that could not provide 24 hours of power in the state was staking claim over development.
