
Ranchi: The Congress and Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha have announced the name of the candidates on Sunday.
Each Congress and RJD have announced five candidates and JMM has announced three candidates' name. JMM declared the names of three candidates for the first phase of polling in the state. Central general secretary of the party cum spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said that following the directions of party supremo Shibu Soren the names of these three candidates have been declared.
Following is the list of candidates declared by JMM: Bhushan Tirkey (Gumla ST), Chamra Linda (Bishunpur ST) and Mithlesh Kumar Thakur (Garhwa).
The Congress party has declared the first list of its candidates for the five seats on which the elections will be held on November 30 in the first phase.
The party has shown its faith in the senior leaders of the state who have been fielded from these seats which also included JPCC chief Dr Rameshwar Oraon from Lohardaga (ST) and Chandrashekhar Dubey from Bishrampur.
The list of the candidates has been declared by Mukul Wasnik General Secretary and incharge for Central Election Committee. Following is the list of the candidates: Rameshwar Oraon (Lohardaga ST), Ramchandra Singh (Manika ST), K N Tripathi (Daltonganj), Chandrashekar Dubey (Bishrampur) and K P Yadav (Bhawnathpur).
The Rashtriya Janta Dal headed by former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav has declared its candidates for 5 Vidhan Sabha seats of the state. Among the five seats on three of them elections will be held in the first phase on November 30.
The list was declared by state RJD chief Abhay Kumar Singh. As per the deal between the Mahagathbandhan allies comprising the JMM, Congress and RJD the Lalu Yadav led party has been given seven seats as part of seat sharing alliance.
