
Ranchi: Leader of the Opposition and acting president of JMM Hemant Soren today said that his party will contest more than 41 seats at any cost during the Assembly Elections in the state.
Speaking to the press after the working committee meet of the party he said that earlier also his party had claimed that his party will contest more than the required number of seats to get the majority in the state.
He said that by this late evening or by tomorrow the shape of the Mahagthabandhan will be before everyone. He said that talks are on with the Congress and the RJD however he claimed that Babulal Marandi of the JVM(P) did not give him time, therefore, talks over the Mahagathbandhan with his party could not be finalised. He said that the party will also release the first list of party candidates on November 8.
In the meeting which was held at the residence of JMM supremo Shibu Soren apart from the MLAs of the JMM, MP, former MLAs and members of the working committee were present. Hemant himself had camped in New Delhi for the last couple of days but could not meet Congress chairperson Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi.
