BJP wants tribals children to become doctors and engineers

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that BJP wanted the children hailing from tribal communities to study and become doctors and engineers whereas the leaders of the Congress and the JMM want them to remain illiterate and involved in only poultry.

Mr Das said that when he talks about providing education to the children of the tribals and the dalit communities the JMM leaders do not like it as they know that when the children who live in far flung and difficult terrain of the state if they become educated than they would understand who speaks for them and who wants their real development.

Addressing a workshop of the ST morcha he said that the opposition does not want the tribals to be get educated and developed. He said that the opposition has always misled the tribals by claiming that if the BJP returns to power than their land would be taken away. 

The Chief Minister asked the people present in the audience whether in the five years of his rule any land of any person was taken away forcefully by the government. He said that after once again full majority government is voted into power more development works would be executed in all the districts.

He claimed that in villages of Latehar where leaders of the maoists used to hold Jan Adalat in those places the government has organised Jan Chaupals however much was needed to be done and for this there was a need to make the double engine government come back in power once again.

The Chief Minister also lauded the works of Latehar MLA Prakash Ram and Bhawnathpur MLA Bhanu Pratap Shahi both of them who have recently joined the BJP and said that the duo-were always concerned regarding the development of their area and often used to meet him with applications related to the different works of their constituency and their people.
