JMM accuses CM of making baseless comments

Ranchi: JMM has taken strong exceptions to recent comments of Chief Minister and said that he was making statements in arrogance.

Addressing a press conference here party spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said that Mr Das who calls Guru Ji as a father figure, on the other hand, labels him of being a ‘Guru Ghantal’ however he forgot that JMM had started its movement against liquor and landlord system. 

He said that apart from Guruji many leaders including Vinod Bihari Mahto and Nirmal Mahato created awareness among the tribals and the Chief Minister should tell to the people as to which government for two fiscal years sold liquor in the state and under whose tenure people died after consuming illicit liquor.

He also called upon the Chief Minister to give one example where any person had died in a tribal family after consuming liquor provided by the JMM or seek public apology for his comments.

Over the query related to formation of mahagathbandhan in the state is said that JMM had sacrificed during the Lok Sabha elections because it was aware of its strength however in the Vidhan Sabha elections the party has commenced full-fledged preparations and whatever seats it would be leaving for the allies should be considered as its sacrifice.
