JD-U declares its candidates for 5 seats of Jharkhand Assembly

Dumka: The Jharkhand unit of the JD-U has declared its candidates for the five seats of the Jharkhand Assembly.

Party president and former MP Salkhan Murmu declared the name of the party candidates for 5 seats of the Santhal Pargana region.
He said that these candidates have been directed to commence their preparations for the elections in advance whereas discussions were underway to name the candidates on the remaining 13 seats of the Santhal Pargana region.

As per the list of candidates declared by the party, Mr. Murmu himself will be contesting from Shikaripada while Marshal Rishikesh Tudu will be contesting from Dumka, Sujeet Kumar Soren from Jama, Lukesh Hansda from Boriyo and Ishwar Marandi from Maheshpur.
