Raghubar to inaugurate Patratu Lake Resort on October 2

Ranchi: Chief Minister Raghubar Das will inaugurate the Patratu Lake Resort on October 2.

In a function which will be organized on that day Tourism Minister Amar Kumar Bauri, Secretary Tourism Rahul Sharma, MD Jharkhand State Building Construction Nigam Ltd Sunil Kumar and Director Tourism Sanjeev Kumar Besra will be present.

It is due to the efforts of the state government that Patratu has emerged as one of the top tourism destinations of the state. The Lake resort has been developed by the tourism department which provides an ideal destination to the people who can spend quality time with their family and friends far away from the rush to the city in the lap of nature.

The resort also has facilities of children park, water park and facilities of other water adventure sports apart from that there are also facilities for wall climbing, bungee jumping and multi-layered rope course at the venue.

The resort is spread over an area of 21 acres and has been developed as an open art gallery which has 52 sculptors made by renowned and some young artists in the country.

For the Chhath festival, a special ghat has been created for the devotees. Another attraction is sunset point which as an island in the middle of the lake were people can reach on the boat to witness the sunset.

For the convenience of the visitors, a modern guest house equipped with all modern facilities has been made where people can do the booking as per their choice.
